This glitch only works for simgle player.

To accomplish it, you need a portal to the nether and a chest filled with the items you wish to duplicate. You place the chest (and the desired items) one square away from the portal. As you pass through the portal, right click on the chest. The normal Chest/ inventory screen pops up, but you are now in the nether. Simply drag the desired items into your inventory, and close the screen. Then go back through the portal. If you did it right (and notch hasn't fixed it) the items should be in both your chest and your inventory.
