My faction idea: (name not chosen yet)

This faction was formed minutes before one of the greatest wizards of all time's death bed. this great wizard was Merlin, he called his most trusted allies to tell them a secret about his castle Hogwarts. he told them that he had sealed the most powerful items and scrolls in to a vault. he told them if these relics were to be taken by someone with dark means, the user could have enough power to take over the world.he told them that when he died these secrets had to be preserved. his last demand was that when he died they needed to create a school so that magic would continue for centuries. he made them make an unbreakable vow then they left.

4 of the original 20 members decided they would take the role of teaching magic so they turned Hogwarts in to a school. those four people names were Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Huffelpuff, Godric Gryffindor, and Salazar Slytherin.

The leader of this group now is named Trent Vallance a hogwarts first year who is one of the descendants of the original group. this group is dedicated to protecting the relics and Hogwarts at ANY cost. there Headquarters is deep underground in hogwarts, where they buried merlin and pray to him often.

if this idea goes through i will chose certain people to be trusted with the secrets of Hogwarts.

its a good idea but i dont think merlin has anything to do with harry potter he was apart of the medievel renesance times and hog warts was founded by Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin.

i know but my idea was that those four people made Hogwarts because they wanted to keep the secrets safe and they were under a vow so they wanted to secure the stuff and keep there vow to Merlin so they kept it a secret

but merlin was wayyy before there time

i think that considering that the falcon is none of the houses mascots, it will be the best one for being impartial. also we should have like armbands or capes.

i think your right and il make skins for anyone in the group

dont get ahead of your self because king has to reject or accept this. Dont start anything now cause if he says no you've done all that work for nothing. And order of the falcon sounds to much like order of the pheonix

i am saying if he accepts this idea i will make these things

recently ive noticed that its only like me gararge and blindguard on and commenting on posts so can anyone please tell me what you think

How about our role is not just protecting the secrets but also hogwarts itself. Like actively stopping griefers.

About the "Merlin was waaay before the four founders" - that's not true. They probably lived during the same timespan, or roughly the same anyways since no one knows when Merlin was born or when he died.

As for the relics, what type of relics would that be?

And did they really bury Merlin below the castle? That seems wierd since Merlin probably lived as the king's most trusted man and would be buried with a big ceremony etcetcetc.

Perhaps they had a big ceremony as a decoy burial location to keep would-be grave robbers from finding his body?

i was thinking of this idea about how merlin started it then i realized that is was the four of them, then i tried to work it together and make some sense in it but i didnt get any replies so i stopped watching the post

hato like the idea, and brogren the relics would be like gold, diamonds swords and stuff along that line maybe statues made of gold and just put some maps, pieces of paper inside and reagents inside. but there would be a secret room there that only people worthy enough could pass, because they had to face challenges that the head of the group would know and challenge recruits to beat it to be accepted.

Well I don't think it that bad of an idea, it just needs some fine tuning... Like items that can cause someone to rule the world... You don't think that would be a bit tempting for the 16 members who didn't found the school? And I'll ask again... How did a first year become the leader of such an organization?

Yeah I get the whole relative thing, but you need to clarify on how the hierarchy works... Who was in charge before Him and how did this new first year come to be in charge? Did he have prior knowledge of it's existence?

the person before him was another student (unknown name) who went missing and the new person (me Trent Vallance a first year) decided to take over. he did have prior knowledge of this event hes father and grandfather told him when he was 10 before being accepted to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. and i had another idea about this, you probably know how Salazar Slytherin was one of the founders, and he had made the chamber of secrets, i was thinking that maybe the other 3 had chambers hidden with items inside like gold and stuff, and maybe those were some of the secrets inside the castle.dats all i have to say
